Small Vise with Internal Garter.

• I get a few questions on how to do an internal garter, and thought I'd take advantage of one I found at the restaurant.
• This garter is semi-circular, and wedges into a mortise in the rear chop (aka "jaw") of the vise.

Beer Taps - Made from Wooden Clamps

• Even the beer taps are made from old Wooden Clamps. 
  

Table for Six or Eight

• While working in Germany, a friend and colleague of mine - knowing my interest in woodworking, and workbenches - told me about a great restaurant in Bad Homburg.
• The restaurant, Scheinerei-Pfeiffer, is constructed in an old woodworking shop, where they've re-used the European style workbenches as tables, and the decor is all from the woodworking shop.
• Here is a table for six made from a larger European WorkBench.
  
• The food, beer, and service there is always great.

Large Wooden Panel Clamps

• As I looked around the restuarnt, I found a bunch of large wooden panel clamps up in the rafters over the eating area in the restaurant.
• If I were an anthropologist - I'd say this is the ancestral missing link to Bessey's..
  

Old Wooden Vise Screw

• All around the restaurant are remnants of the former WoodWorking Shop.
• Here you see an old wooden vise screw.
• (That was Meko's beer, but don't worry- he doesn't operate woodworking equipment after drinking).
  

WorkBench - Treadle Lathe Combo

• Here is a table made from a former WorkBench - Treadle Lathe combination.
• That's one heck of  a lathe, and I bet you'd have some strong legs if you were a turner.
